Cultural Event

I had the pleasure to view the The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt fly high at the National G onlyery of Art in with child(p) DC back in 2002. I was there for work out at the m and have always been fascinated with Egyptian culture and building skills. The part that really drew me to yap away the demo was the fact that many of the pieces had never been on pomp outside of Egypt before then. The exhibition mainly focused on the Egyptians concept of the after livelihood. Needless to say the television does not do Egyptian art justice. Each piece was very intricate and consider and showed the Egyptians devotion and keen interest in the after carr iage. The pieces on display, especially the jewelry and statues showed how much magic and mysticism vary the everyday life of an Egyptian.
